Staying close to home during these times still allows us to get in some long hikes. Hit the local trails as we discover three different county parks. Come prepared for the weather: dress in non-cotton layers, wear hiking boots, and bring water, snacks and a day pack with room to take off layers as you warm up.

Rating: Moderate pace, dirt, sand, muddy, rooty, rocky trails, some ascents and descents. Miles: 6-9
