The Morris County Historical Society located in Acorn Hall presents two History Lunch Break programs offered free via Zoom at noon.

Join MCHS Curator of Collections Anne Motto for a Zoom discussion of the Morristown Sewing School where volunteer teachers from the upper echelons of Morristown society taught local girls ages 5-15 practical sewing skills on Saturday morning throughout the 1880s. Thanks to 45 class registers donated to MCHS, some of the only records of the school, we have a window into the very different lives of the teachers and their students.
