Experience the best of morning bird activity with a Park System Naturalist. Monmouth County hosts a wide variety of wildlife year-round and is also home to some important “stopover” sites for migratory birds in eastern North America. Join us on this casual walk as we look for birds and other unique wildlife. From woodlands and freshwater wetlands to salt marshes and an ocean beach, the walks cover diverse natural communities to offer diverse wildlife sightings. These walks are a great introduction to birding and appropriate for birders and wildlife watchers of all levels. Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes. Bring binoculars if you have them. Please arrive and check-in 10 minutes before the start of the program.
